Banwell Released from PTO

Bridgeport Islanders News Release
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced that defenseman Mike Banwell has been released from his professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Banwell, 26, signed his PTO on Dec. 1 and appeared in two games for the Sound Tigers. He will return to the Reading Royals (ECHL), where he has two assists in 13 games.
The Sound Tigers take on the Hershey Bears at Webster Bank Arena tonight at 7 p.m.
