
Marlies Fall 2-1 against Hamilton

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies were defeated 2-1 by the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, tonight at Ricoh Coliseum.
Bulldogs captain Martin St. Pierre opened the scoring with a powerplay tally at 11:52 of the opening period. St. Pierre's second goal of the game would extend Hamilton's lead just over one minute into the middle frame. Korbinian Holzer cut the Bulldogs lead in half with his team on a man advantage at 17:54 of the second period. Despite a late third period powerplay opportunity, Toronto was unable to tie the game.
The Marlies return to the ice on Friday, December 13 when they travel down the QEW for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Hamilton Bulldogs.
