Blackhawks Reassign Nordstrom to Rockford

Chicago, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have reassigned forward Joakim Nordstrom to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Nordstrom, 21, has earned two points (1g, 1a) in 10 games with the Blackhawks this season. The Stockholm, Sweden, native has also recorded six points (5g, 1a) in 15 contests with the IceHogs. Nordstrom is expected to be in Charlotte for Saturday's game against the Checkers.

Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 13 vs. Oklahoma City Barons at 7 p.m. The first 2,500 fans through the gates will get a BMO Harris Bank Hubert Doll as the IceHogs open a two-game weekend set against the Barons.
