Pecos League: The independent Pecos League is reported to be exploring the Grand Junction (CO) market for a proposed expansion team, unofficially called the Grand Junction Cliff Hangers. The new team would replace the independent Pioneer League's Grand Junction Jackalopes who announced plans after the 2025 season to move to a new yet-to-be-named market. The city is reviewing proposals for use of the local sports complex next summer.

December 8, 2025 - LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - At the Baseball Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida earlier today, Minor League Baseball announced that Louisville Bats Manager Pat Kelly has been named the recipient of the 17th annual Mike Coolbaugh Award.
The Mike Coolbaugh Award is presented annually to an individual who has shown outstanding baseball work ethic, knowledge of the game, and skill in mentoring young players. December 8, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - After re-signing three players from last year's roster last week, the Washington Wild Things have made their first new signing official with the addition of right-handed hurler Maddox Long, a 2025 Northwoods League Midseason All Star and former standout at NCAA Division II school, Harding University.
