Jets Re-Assign Carl Klingberg to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Carl Klingberg to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Klingberg, 22, returns to the IceCaps where he has played in 33 games so far this season. In that time, the Gothenburg, Sweden native has recorded 18 points (11G, 7A) and 20 penalty minutes. He has played in seven career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg where he recorded four penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the second round, 34th overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft.
