Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV - The 2005-06 edition of the Wheeling Nailers training kicked off this morning at WesBanco Arena. With one of the largest camps in team history 25 plus guys hit the ice with hopes of becoming a Wheeling Nailers.
Coach Patrick put the guys through many skating drills to get their legs back in shape. The team ran full ice in 5 on 4 and 5 on 3 drills.
Players Notes:
Big Brent Henley looked solid back on the blue line and Fan favorite Alex Rouleau showed some real speed moving through drills.
Camp Notes:
There will be no ice for the players on Saturday morning. The team will return to the ice on Sunday morning at 10. All practices are open to the public.
