Boardwalk Bullies Celebrate 'Jim Henkel Night' on February

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the East Coast Hockey League announced that Saturday, February 15, is Jim Henkel Night at the Bullies game against the Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m.

The CCM ECHL Rookie of the Month for January was born and raised in Hazlet, N.J., and attended Christian Brothers Academy.

Currently, Henkel is on a 19-game point scoring streak, the longest in the league this year, with 32 points (11G, 21A) in 19 games stretching from December 18, 2002 to February 8, 2003. Among rookies, Henkel is tied for second in the league in scoring with 52 points (23G, 29A) in 47 games and is third in the league in goals (23).

Selected in the eighth round (217th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Henkel earned one American Hockey League call-up this season, playing two games with the Cleveland Barons.

Also on February 15, the Bullies will culminate the Stanley Cup's visit to Atlantic City, as fans will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with the Cup on the concourse for a nominal donation to Bullies Charities. Fans are asked to bring their own cameras.
