Caponigri Activated Off Injured Reserve

Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release


ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced that forward Paul Caponigri has been activated off the seven-day injured reserve. Caponigri is expected to be in the line-up tonight when the Bullies travel to Trenton for Game 2 of their best-of-five North Division Semifinals with the Titans.

Caponigri, 26, finished fourth on the Bullies in scoring during the regular season with 15 goals and 43 points. He was placed on the injured reserve on April 6.

Trenton leads the series 1-0 after defeating the Bullies 4-2 in Game 1 Wednesday at Sovereign Bank Arena.

New Jersey's ECHL rivalry continues on as the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and the Trenton Titans meet in Game 2 of the best-of-five North Division Semifinals of the 2005 Kelly Cup Playoffs beginning at 7:30PM tonight at Sovereign Bank Arena. Catch all the action live on ESPN Radio 1450 and the SurferNetwork beginning with "Bullies Countdown" at 7:10PM.

The Bullies return to Historic Boardwalk Hall to host Game 3 at 4:05PM on Sunday and, if necessary, Game 4 at 7:05PM on Tuesday, April 19.
