
Cloutier Runner Up For ECHL Reebok Hockey Goaltender of the Year

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that goalie Frederic Cloutier finished second in the voting for the ECHL/Reebox Hockey Goaltender of the Year award. The voting is determined in a vote by ECHL coaches.
Cloutier finished with a record of 32-12-3 with a 2.37 goals against average and .928 save percentage during the regular season. Chris Madden, who posted a record of 19-5-2 with a 2.14 goals against average and .941 save percentage for Long Beach, won the award. Madden was acquired in a trade by Florida at the trade deadline and signed an AHL contract on February 19 with Providence. He is 5-3-0 with two shutouts and a 1.76 goals against average and .938 save percentage in 11 games with Providence.
Alfie Michaud of Peoria and Barry Brust of Reading finished third and fourth in the voting.
The Ice Pilots will
play the Greenville Grrrowl in game two of the Best of Five Kelly Cup Playoff
series tonight at 7:05 p.m. The Grrrowl lead the series 1 game to none with a 5-4
overtime win last night vs. the Ice Pilots. The following is the Kelly Cup Playoff

WEAR TV 3 is sponsoring tonights game with Rebuild Northwest Florida. The first 1,000 fans will receive rally towels at the game on Friday night sponsored by WEAR TV 3. Two front row tickets to see Kenny Rogers perform in concert at the Pensacola Civic Center on Sunday, April 17th at 7:30 p.m. will be raffled off during the game to benefit Rebuild Northwest Florida. Also, Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr, along with the help of WEAR TV 3, will donate a portion of ticket sales from tomorrow nights game to Rebuild Northwest Florida.
Cost of individual home playoff tickets are $24 for glass seats, $17 for side seats, $15 for goals and lower upper level seats and $12 for upper level seats, plus any applicable convenient charge.
Fans can purchase individual Kelly Cup Playoff tickets in person at the
Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444
or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. A group of 15 or more can
call the Ice Pilots office for group playoff tickets at 432-7825.
