
Checkers offer pay-per-view webcasts

CHARLOTTE, NC â The Charlotte Checkers announced today that all Checkers home playoff games and several road games will be available for viewing at the Checkers website â www.gocheckers.com. The Checkers have partnered with B2 Networks LLC, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the pay-per-view broadcasts.
Checkers president Jeff Longo believes this opportunity will better serve the fans. "We are thrilled with the prospect of partnering with B2 Networks to bring this outstanding advancement in technology to our fans and our players' families. As B2 Networks continues to expand their client base in the ECHL, it's possible that our fans will have the opportunity to watch our playoff games plus all 72 regular season games next season live."
Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Checkers website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a DSL or Cable modem connection only and the charge is $6 per game. Fans will be able to watch all Checkers home playoff games, and additional away games may be added. Fans are encouraged to visit the Checkers website for additional details.

The Checkers are playing their 12th season in Charlotte, North Carolina after their inaugural year in 1993. The Checkers won their first ECHL title when they took home the Riley Cup in 1996. This year, the Checkers have secured a playoff berth for the first time in three seasons.
