
Masse Recalled to Hershey

Reading, PA â The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced that forward David Masse has been recalled by the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.
Masse returns to the Bears for his third promotion of the season. The Montreal, Quebec native has appeared in 45 games with Hershey and tallied 12 goals, seven on the power play, and 20 points. His three game-winning goals rank second on the club behind leading-scorer Eric Perrin. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward has skated in just 25 games with Reading this season and posted eight goals and nineteen points. Masse was the hottest Royal offensively ending the regular season on a ten-game scoring streak (6-9=14).
Hershey is finishing their season with three road games which begin tonight in Philadelphia against the Phantoms. The Bears travel to Binghamton and Bridgeport to close out their 68th season.
The Royals and Storm will play game two on Saturday, April 16 at 7:05 p.m. Rieck's Printing in West Reading is handing out Royals/ Kelly Cup Rally Cards to the first 3,000 fans in attendance. Fans also have the opportunity to "Blow away the Storm" prior to the game. A vehicle provided by V&M Towing will be painted up in Storm colors and fans will have a chance to take a swing at it with a sledgehammer for Royals Charities. One swing for $1 located just out the Sovereign Center doors on 7th and Penn Streets.
Kelly Cup Playoff tickets are on sale at the Sovereign Center Box Office. The Box Office is opened Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or up to game time.
