Checkers Come up Short in Loss to Hartford

February 14, 2026 - CHARLOTTE, NC- The Checkers couldn't quite dig out of a first-period hole in their return to action Saturday night, falling to the Wolf Pack 3-2. The opening frame featured plenty of fireworks, starting with an impressive tip from Jack Studnicka less than five minutes in. That Charlotte lead was short-lived, though, as the Wolf Pack rattled off three straight tallies over a span of seven minutes to build up a two-goal advantage heading into the first intermission. February 14, 2026 - Start the holiday off right for the Checkers' game on Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. A special ticket package including a themed t-shirt is available now for just $55 total while supplies last.
