June 8, 2025 - Anthem RC came closest to a first Major League Rugby victory in Week 5 against the Houston SaberCats.
Leading their Western Conference in the final three minutes of the contest, a late Davy Coetzer penalty dashed Anthem's hopes of registering their first-ever win, and they instead lost the game 46-45.
Now, ahead of Week 17, the North Carolinians will travel to Texas to finish up the 2025 season and have one final shot at victory before the offseason.

April 4, 2025 - Makeen Alikhan has found his confidence on the field again in Major League Rugby.
The 23-year-old is in his second season in North America after joining the Dallas Jackals on loan from English Premiership Rugby club Harlequins for the 2024 season.
After joining the London club's senior academy at 18, the flanker had endured a miserable time with near-constant injury and saw his game time limited.

January 16, 2025 - Junior Gafa's efforts for Anthem Rugby Carolina in 2024 saw the center awarded Major League Rugby Rookie of the Year.
Picked 23rd overall by the New England Free Jacks in the 2023 MLR Collegiate Draft, Gafa was initially loaned to Anthem before joining the team full-time in the offseason.
Over his 13 league appearances, the 23-year-old gained 1,062 meters, beat 37 defenders, and scored four tries in the North Carolinians' inaugural campaign.
Those performances on the field got the back named in USA Rugby's reserves ... Full Story
