December 15, 2020 - CHARLOTTE - Charlotte Football Club today announced that Nick Kelly has been named club president. Kelly will be responsible for the team's day-to-day business operations.
Kelly comes to Charlotte FC following six years with Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), where he most recently served as vice president of partnerships, beer culture and community. In this role, Kelly oversaw all company partnerships in the sports, music and entertainment fields across the United States.

July 22, 2020 - Charlotte's new MLS expansion team revealed its official name, crest and colors during a live-streamed event featuring the club's supporters' group and owner David Tepper.
Get your Charlotte FC gear now The club is set to kick off its inaugural MLS season in 2022 and will play at Bank of America Stadium in the heart of Charlotte.
Name & Colors
The new team will be named Charlotte Football Club, or Charlotte FC. The club will also adopt CLTFC as a secondary reference.
