Richmond's Brad Church Named InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Richmond left wing Brad Church is the InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week for February 3-9.

Church scored seven points (4g-3a) and was +6 while helping Richmond go 2-0. Church has a six-game scoring streak (5g-8a) and a six-game assist streak (8a).

The 26-year-old Church also won the award on November 18 after scoring eight points (4g-4a) in three games.

The 6-1 and 210-pound Church scored the game-winning goal and had an assist in a 6-3 win over Greensboro on Friday. He scored his first hat trick of the season and had a team season-high five points in an 8-4 win over Reading on Saturday.

Selected in the first round (17th overall) by Washington in the 1995 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Church is tied for the team lead with 20 goals while ranking second on the team with 31 assists and 51 points in 44 games.

Church scored 11 points (6g-5a) in eight games with Richmond in 2001-02 before being called up to the American Hockey League.

On behalf of Brad Church, a case of pucks will be donated to a Richmond area youth hockey organization by InGlasCo.
