Pride to hold the line on prices
February 10, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC âPee Dee Pride management today announced that prices for season tickets, individual-game tickets and corporate advertising will remain at the same price levels for the 2003-2004 hockey season. Next year will be the fourth consecutive season that the Pride's ticket prices remain the same. With the possibility of other minor-league organizations raising their prices, the Pride's average ticket price remains among the lowest in the East Coast Hockey League.
"We are very pleased to announce that our prices will remain at the same affordable levels for next season," Pride Senior Vice President Jack Capuano said. "We are fortunate that we are able to offer a great entertainment option at such reasonable prices."
Season tickets in the 200-level are $425, while individual-game tickets are $15, giving season-ticket holders a savings of $130. In the 300-level, season tickets are $335 and individual tickets are $12, a savings of $109 to season-ticket holders. Season tickets for the 400-level cost $245 with individual tickets at $9, a savings of $88 over the course of the season.
In addition to ticket prices remaining the same, all corporate advertising prices will also stay at their same level for next season. Corporate advertising allows businesses to create brand recognition in front of thousands of people each night, and drive traffic to their business.
"Our team has been treated great by the Pee Dee community during our six years here," Capuano said. "By freezing all of our prices for next season, we are once again hoping for great support from our fans and from the business community."
The Pride wrap up their seven-game road trip with a pair of road games this week. Tuesday, the Pride are at Greenville to take on the Grrrowl, while on Wednesday, they head to Augusta to battle the Lynx. Both games start at 7:05. Pee Dee returns home on Thursday, February 13, hosting their Southeast Division rivals, the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for that game, and all remaining Pride home games, are available at the Florence Civic Center Box Office, or through TicketMaster at (843) 679-9333 or www.ticketmaster.com.
