BANDITS RECAP -
ARKANSAS 3, BANDITS 2 (OT) - Randy Copley scored both goals but the RiverBlades got a fluke goal with 2:01 left in overtime to take a 3-2 decision over the Bandits. The Bandits finished their three-game series at Arkansas with a 1-1-1 record. Andrew Allen made 36 saves in goal for the Bandits. Former Bandit Brad Holzinger scored Arkansas' first goal.

BANDITS 4, LOUISIANA 3 - James Patterson scored two first-period goals and added an assist as the Bandits returned home in victorious fashion, 4-3 over league-leading Louisiana. Patterson scored on the Bandits' first shot at 1:53 and again at 9:38. John McNabb picked up his first goal as a Bandit in the second, while Chris Longo added what proved to be the game-winning goal in the third. Andrew Allen made 27 save for the Bandits.

BANDITS 2, MOBILE 1 - Mike Oliveira and Chris Longo scored in the first period and the Bandits made it stand for a 2-1 win over the Mysticks, their sixth in as many tries against the Alabama gang this season. Former Bandit J.P. O'Connor had the Mobile goal. Mike Tamburro stopped all 14 Mysticks shots in the third period and 36 of 37 for the game. The Bandits killed off all eight Mysticks power plays in the contest.

MISSISSIPPI 3, BANDITS 1 - The Sea Wolves scored a goal in each period as they took a 3-1 win over the Bandits. The win gives the Sea Wolves an 11-9 edge in the Cellular South Cup with one game remaining on March 27. The Sea Wolves need at least one point in the finale to claim the Cup. If the Bandits win that game in regulation, they would win the Cup due to goal differential. Francois Fortier had a goal and assist for Mississippi. Mike Oliveira scored the lone goal for the Bandits.

BANDITS MATCH-UPS -
ARKANSAS - The Bandits and RiverBlades meet for the fourth time in 13 days on Wednesday at the Coliseum. The Bandits are 5-2-1 against Arkansas this season, although every game has been close. Jason Bermingham leads the Blades in scoring with 53 points (27g-26a) while Rob Bonneau, who missed the three games against the Bandits on injured reserve but returned over the weekend, is next with 48 points (21g-27a). Goalie Jason Saal is 22-13-10 with a 2.36 GAA and has played 32 of the last 34 games for the RiverBlades, who are 6-1-2 in their last nine games.

PENSACOLA - The Bandits recently took a pair of games from the Ice Pilots in Pensacola and have a 4-3-1 record against the Ice Pilots this season heading into Friday's season finale between the teams. The Ice Pilots are in second place in the ECHL's Southwest Division, seven points ahead of the Bandits. Louis Dumont continues to lead the league with 95 points (32g-63a) while Greg Pankewicz is third with 82 points (36g-46a). Dean Tiltgen is fourth with 36 goals and tenth with 72 points (36g-36a). Goalie Maxime Gingras is 22-14-6 with a 3.05 GAA for the Ice Pilots.

MOBILE - Five of the Bandits' six wins against the Mysticks have been by one goal. Two have come in overtime and one was decided in the shootout as the Bandits have won all six meetings. Tyler Deis has ten assists in 12 games since coming over from Baton Rouge and leads Mobile with 56 points (20g-36a) on the season. Hugues Gervais leads Mobile with 28 goals, just shy of the 32 he scored last year. Rookie goalie Greg Hewitt continues his ironman streak between the pipes, having played 23 straight games and 38 of the last 39 contests.

As always, please contact Mike Sheehan at the Bandits office (352-7825 or email mike@thebandits.com) to confirm time and site of practice.

BANDITS BITES - Chris Longo has four game-winning goals this season, including in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. Mike Oliveira has set new career bests with 16 goals and 33 points this season. The Bandits are 13-4-1 in their last 18 home games. We've talked about how close the series has been between the Bandits and Mobile, but you probably didn't know that the Bandits have won four of the six games by a 2-1 score. The Chicago Blackhawks, the Bandits' NHL affiliate, currently have a record of 35-22-11-1 and 82 points, good enough for second place in the NHL's Central Division. The Norfolk Admirals, the Bandits' AHL affiliate, have moved into first place in the AHL's Southern Division with a 31-24-12-4 record and 78 points. The Admirals won three straight road games over the weekend.
