Gulls host "Pucks & Pasta" Dinner to support Make-A-Wish
SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Gulls are teaming with the popular Hard Rock Café to host a "Pucks & Pasta" dinner on Wednesday, March 27 in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. The event is an opportunity to wine and dine with Gulls players, while supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes to children under the age of 18 with life-threatening illnesses to bring them hope, strength and joy.
Fans will be able to meet their favorite players and have one-on-one conversations in an intimate setting. Among the players slated to attend are Mark Woolf, Dennis Purdie, Sammy Nassredine, Taj Melson and Trevor Koenig, as well as head coach Steve Martinson. The players will hold a question and answer session, sign autographs and greet fans - including two or three Make-A-Wish youngsters whose wish is to meet a professional athlete.
Signed memorabilia - including jerseys and sticks - will be available for fans to win in an auction and raffle. Tickets for the event are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to Make-A-Wish. There will be three dinner plates to choose from, served from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Drinks will be served at a reception half an hour prior. For more information on the event and to order tickets, please call 619-615-7625.
San Diego hosts a two game set against Tacoma March 23rd and 24th. Game time for both nights is set for 7 p.m. Gull's floppy hats will be given to the first 5,000 fans in attendance. All games can be heard live on 1130AM-KSDO and at www.ksdo.com with Chris Ello calling the play-by-play.
