Richmond Renegades 5 @ ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK BULLIES 2
Wednesday the Richmond Renegades defeated the Boardwalk Bullies, 5-2. Led by Mike Siklenka's hat trick and Lars Pettersen's four assists, Richmond won its fifth of eight matchups with the Bullies this season. 'Gades goalie Ratislav Stana turned away 45 Bullies shots, while Bullies' Scott Stirling gave up four goals and made 24 saves. Jerry Keefe and Scott Matzka tallied for the Bullies.

ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK BULLIES 3 @ Johnstown Chiefs 1
Scott Stirling stopped 34 Johnstown shots en route to the Bullies' 3-1 win over the Chiefs. Johnstown's David Gove opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first period, but Atlantic City took over offensively. J.F. Caudron tallied his 19th of the season, a power-play goal assisted by Ian Walterson and John Campbell, seven minutes into the middle frame. Luke Curtin and Mike Martiniello scored one minute and 37 seconds apart in the third to seal the Bullies' victory and tie the teams' season series at two games apiece and improve to 2-0-2 against the Chiefs.

ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK BULLIES 6 @ Dayton Bombers 4
Down 4-0 approaching the halfway mark of the second period, the Boardwalk Bullies scored six unanswered goals to defeat the Dayton Bombers by a final of 6-4. Scott Matzka scored first for Atlantic City; a five-on-three power-play tally assisted by Luke Curtin and Vratislav Cech at 10:40 in the middle frame. Jamie O'Leary scored a power-play goal 33 seconds later to pull the Bullies within two. Luke Curtin netted his 21st goal of the season unassisted on a breakaway to close out the second period. The Bullies continued their offensive surge in the third period. J.F. Caudron notched his first of the night at 4:12, assisted by Jerry Keefe and Matzka. Stefan Rivard scored the game winner, shorthanded off a faceoff win and a pass from Curtin, at 9:15. Caudron padded the victory with an unassisted empty-net goal with 43 seconds left in regulation. Shawn Degagne stopped 34 Dayton shots, while Bombers' Gregg Naumenko made 31 saves and gave up five goals.

Currently, the Bullies are in third place in the Northeast Division with 80 points in 64 games...Luke Curtin is red hot with 14 points (8G,6A) and a +2 in his last nine games and eight points (4G,4A) in his last five games...Curtin is on a five-game point scoring streak (3/8/02 â present) and leads the team in assists with 42...John Campbell has averaged one point per game, with four goals and six assists, in his last 10 games...Jamie O'Leary and Scott Matzka each have five points in his last five games on two goals and three assists...Stefan Rivard leads the team in points (64), goals (24), +/- (+13), and PIM (191). Monday the Boardwalk Bullies were the guests of honor at the Bullies Fan Club End of the Season Banquet at Renault Winery. Stefan Rivard accepted a congratulatory plaque on behalf of his teammates for nearing the completion of a successful hockey season in Atlantic City, a town without professional hockey since 1952. Bullies General Manager Matt Loughran, Head Coach Mike Haviland, and the team members received a special scrapbook commemorating the 2001-02 Boardwalk Bullies inaugural season.
