
Florida's Matile Named East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Florida's Sean Matile is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for March 11-17.
Matile was 2-0 with a 1.50 goals against average and a .943 save percentage as the Everblades continued their drive towards a Kelly Cup Playoffs berth.
The 6-4 and 205-pound Matile made 27 saves in a 4-3 win against Southwest Division rival Pensacola on Saturday, and then made 23 saves in a 2-0 win against Northwest Division co-leader Peoria.
Acquired in a trade with Richmond on February 28, Matile is 2-1 with a 2.36 goals against average and a .901 save percentage in three starts for the Everblades.
Matile opened the season with New Orleans and was 2-5 with a shutout and a 2.90 goals against average in 12 games. He went 2-4-2 with a 3.40 goals against average in eight games with Richmond and he has also appeared in one game with Cleveland in the American Hockey League.
