1. HEAT INDEX

Head coach Mitch Love wanted to see response from Stockton's first regulation loss of the campaign, and it may not have come easy but that's exactly what he got in a 3-2 overtime win for the Heat over the Colorado Eagles Friday. The visitors killed a season-high seven penalties en route to the win, including a late 5-on-3. Once again Jakob Pelletier played hero, potting his league-leading fourth game-winner of the young campaign 2:03 into the added time.

2. THIS, THAT, THE OTHER

THIS... Glenn Gawdin keeps rolling against the Eagles, with the game-tying goal in Friday's game to force a 2-2 stalemate and overtime. In 16 career games against Colorado, Gawdin has 15 points and six goals. The centerman will be elevated to the top line on Saturday and will look to continue his momentum against Colorado. THAT... Dial up Jakob Pelletier when you need a big goal. The rookie has shown a penchant for rising to the moment, having factored into seven of 10 game-winners on the year for the Heat, including four GWGs of his own. In addition, Pelletier has a pair of game-tying goals - one against the Henderson Silver Knights, another against Ontario. THE OTHER... It may be listed as an away game, but Stockton has always felt right at home at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland. Stockton will look to make it 7-2-0-0 all-time against the Eagles in Colorado's home barn following Friday's OT winner. The Heat next play at Colorado on March 18 and 19.

3. PLAYERS TO WATCH

Heat - Jakob Pelletier

See: That. Also, Pelletier has a seven-game point streak heading into Saturday's game.

Eagles - Dylan Sikura

Colorado's leading scorer was held off the score sheet in Friday's game, and Colorado will look for him to lead the way in what the home team hopes is a bounce-back effort.

4. MILESTONES WITHIN REACH

Kevin Gravel is one goal shy of 20 in his AHL career.

5. QUOTABLE

"We played good for 60 minutes. To take a win like that, it was good for sure... It's a character win. We killed a 5-on-3 late in the third. The way we battled the whole game, it was pretty good for us." - Jakob Pelletier on Friday's win over Colorado
