
Warriors Wrap Up Bantam Draft

Moose Jaw, SK.--- The Warriors have selected 12 players in the 2010 Bantam Draft. The Warriors took 6 forwards, 4 defensemen and 2 goal tenders. Warriors Director of Hockey Operations was pleased with this year's Bantam crop.
"We were very satisfied with the results of the draft," said Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Truitt. "We feel our strength was in choosing six talented forwards," added Truitt. "Our hard working scouting staff made it possible to choose the best talent out there," said Truitt. "We selected a good blend of statistically strong players combined with grit and size-making for a well balanced draft," added Jeff Truitt.
DRAFT SUMMARY
First round: Carter Hansen (D) and Torin White (RW) (trade from Brandon)
Second round: Brandon Potomak (C) and Spencer Morse (D) (trade from Brandon)
Third round: Traded to Calgary
Fourth round: Braiden Doucette (D) and Daniel Wapple (G) (pick from Portland)
Fifth round: Kurt Keats (F) (pick from Chilliwack); Pick # 98 traded to Kamloops
Sixth round: Jordan Wiest (D) and Braydon MacDonald (RW) (pick from Medicine Hat)
Seventh round: Conner Baugh (RW) and Latrell Charleson (RD) (pick from Calgary)
Eighth round: Justin Paulic (G)
