Forward Luke Mahura Picked in 2nd Round

Edmonton, Alberta - With the Prince Albert Raiders 2nd Round selection, 28th overall, Dale Derkatch, Director of Player Personnel picked right winger Luke Mahura from the St. Albert Gregg Distributors Sabres at the WHL Bantam Draft in Edmonton this morning. The draft continues.

Mahura, 5'9", 151 pounds finished 7th overall in the Alberta Major Bantam League in scoring with 39 goals and 29 assists for 68 points in 33 games for the Sabres to go along with 56 minutes in penalties.

In the first round they selected defenceman Josh Morrissey of Calgary 6th overall.

The Raiders next selection will be 50th overall, in the third round.
