Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club drafted 11 players today in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft including six forwards, four defencemen and a goalie.

With the team's first pick, 22nd overall, the Hitmen selected center Gregory Chase from the AAA Bantam Sherwood Park Flyers. Chase had 77 points (42g 35a) in 33 games this season.

"We project Chase to be a top six forward in the Western Hockey League, so we were very excited he was still available 22nd overall," said Hitmen Head Scout Brad Whelen. "This crop of prospects features a good combination of speed and skill along with defencemen who are going to be tough to play against."
