Broncos Make 1st Round Bantam Pick

Edmonton, AB---The Swift Current Broncos have selected defenseman Dillon Heatherington with their first selection, 11th over-all at the WHL Bantam Draft in Edmonton.
Heatherington is 6'0" and 155 pounds. Last season he had 8 goals and 16 assists for 24 points in 32 games for the Calgary Bronks in the Alberta Bantam AAA League.
Director of Player Personnel Jamie Porter is pleased the Broncos were able to draft Heatherington. "He's a solid well-rounded defenseman, he has some offensive upside and he's solid in his own end. We think he will complement our group that we already have."
