Pats Select McLean in the 5th Round

Edmonton, Alberta - In the 5th round, 91st overall the Regina Pats have selected Ty McLean from Redvers, Saskatchewan. McLean played this season with Carlyle/Moose Mountain of the SSMHL.

The Pats acquired this pick from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in October in exchange for Linden Rowat.

Regina Pats Director of Scouting, Todd Ripplinger, "Ty is a dynamic offensive player that has fantastic hands, he's smart, competes scores and is just fun to watch. He was more of an impact player than Jordan Weal was at this age."
