Media All-Star Game Rosters Set For Capitals Open House

Edmonton, AB - The unofficial start to the Edmonton Capitals 2010 Season is set for this Saturday, May 1 when the Capitals open the doors to TELUS Field for their second annual Open House. Saturday's Open House will include the Caps first-ever Media All-Star Game featuring Global Sports anchor Kevin Karius and traffic reporter and morning show anchor Daintre Christensen, 630 CHED's Inside Sports host Dan Tencer and Eskimos color commentator Dave Campbell, JOE FM's Ryann Bradley, 91.7 the Bounce's Jake Ryan, Cory Balash and Joelle St. Claire and OMNI Television reporter Aadel Haleem.

Saturday's Open House, which is open to everyone, will also include a Select-A-Seat opportunity for prospective season ticket holders, Open Tryouts for the team, tryouts for Batboy and Batgirl presented by 630 CHED, JOE FM and CISN Country 103.9 plus a free BBQ. Season Seat Holders will also have the opportunity to meet the Capitals 2010 Coaching staff in an exclusive Meet & Greet.

Saturday, May 1 is also the day all Capitals retail tickets go on sale for the entire season.

9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - Registration for Open Tryouts

10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Select A Seat

10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Open Tryouts

11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Free BBQ

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Registration for Batboy/Batgirls tryouts

1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Batboy/Batgirl Tryouts

4:00 p.m. - Media All-Star Game

The Edmonton Capitals 2010 season is presented by Canadian Tire. Capitals season seats are currently on sale at TELUS Field or by calling 780-414-GOAL (4625).
