RED DEER, AB - Jesse Wallin, Vice-President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today they have selected defenceman Kayle Doetzel with their first pick, 12th overall, in the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Doetzel had 34 points (14-20-34) in 20 games with West Central Bantam AA's in 2009-10.
