Ice Select Sam Reinhart In The First Round

Calgary, AB - Garnet Kazuik, Director of Scouting for the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club today announced Forward Sam Reinhart has been selected 15th overall by the club in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft. The 21st annual WHL Bantam Draft began at 8:30 am today in Edmonton and is for players born in 1995 and playing in the four Western Provinces and selected regions of the United States.

"Reinhart, the brother of Max Reinhart, is a Center that is a power forward and has exceptional skating skills," commented Kazuik. "His late birthday means that he is still developing his skills and has already shown he can be effective on both ends of the ice. We are excited to welcome Sam to the Kootenay ICE organization."

Reinhart becomes the 15th first round draft pick in the history of the ICE franchise.
