Prince George, BC - The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce the selection of forward Jarrett Fontaine of Humboldt, Saskatchewan in the third round, 52nd overall of the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.

Fontaine, a 5'5", 140 pound centre, played for the Humboldt Bantam Broncos where he scored 61 goals and added 41 assists for 102 points in the 2009-10 season. Fontaine was a teammate this past season with the Cougars second pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft, Jordan Tkatch.

"He's the best small player in the draft," said Cougars Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel Wade Klippenstein. "He is very highly skilled and we're very excited to add Jarrett. He's a very dynamic player and the way the game is being played in the Western Hockey League these days will make him a very good WHL player."
