Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce the Third Annual Teddy Bear Toss game will be Friday, December 13th, as the K-Wings host the Adirondack IceHawks.

This will be the 3rd seasons the K-Wings have staged the Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are asked to bring a new or gently used teddy bear or other stuffed animal to the game next Friday. After Kalamazoo scores their first goal, all fans are asked to throw their bears onto the ice. The bears will be collected and donated to area children's hospitals along with the Angel Tree Foundation.

Last season, the K-Wings collected 842 stuffed animals that were distributed to children last Christmas. Tickets for this season's game against the IceHawks are currently available by calling the Wings Stadium Box Office at (269) 345-5101.
