The Condors held the lead and took the 2-1 victory behind the strength of Kevin St. Pierre's 44 saves. The Condors improved to 3-2 against the Gulls on the season, and won their fifth straight home game.

Condors Drop Shootout Match
Bakersfield traveled to Anchorage for a three game set starting on Friday, and suffered their first shootout loss of the season, 6-5. Paul Willett scored twice, including his first shorthanded goal of the season, Jeff Goldie, Jimmy Drolet and Jason Jackman also scored for the Condors. Dean Larson registered the hat trick, his third tying the contest at 5-5 with just 3:30 left to play. It erased a 5-4 lead for Bakersfield that Jackman earned with his second goal of the season just a few minutes earlier. The Condors outshot the Aces 29-26 in the contest, which featured four tying goals and three different lead changes. Anchorage beat netminder Kevin St. Pierre four times on six tries in the extra session.

Defensive Battle Leans Aces Way
The Condors and Aces, one night after a free-flowing offensive showdown, engaged in a low-scoring affair on Saturday, which Anchorage took 2-1. Larson scored midway through the second period to make it 1-0 Aces, and B.J. Young tallied early in the third to make it 2-0. Shawn Byram scored his fifth goal of the season on a 5-on-3 power play later in the third period but the Condors could not overcome the deficit and suffered the one-goal loss.
Sunday, December 8
Anchorage Comes Back to Win Again
Bakersfield took the lead in this one, but couldn't hold on as the Condors suffered a 3-2 shootout loss to complete their weekend series against the Aces. Paul Willett and Jordan Roach scored for Bakersfield in the first period, but the Aces scored to make it 2-1 after one period. Fourteen minutes into the second period, the Aces tied the game at 2-2 and the game remained tied throughout regulation time. The Condors outshot the Aces 31-21 in the game, but netminder Christian Soucy sparkled for Anchorage, turning aside an additional six shots in the shootout. Anchorage won in the eighth round of the extra session to take their fourth straight victory over Bakersfield.
