Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce its public relations calendar for the weeks of December 9th-December 22nd.

On Tuesday, December 10th, K-Wings forwards Michael Ford and Jordan Trew will be visiting Spring Valley Elementary at 2 PM. The players will discuss the importance of education, especially reading to the students.

On Sunday, December 15th, K-Wings players Chad Alban, Mark Phenow, Eric Lawson, and Michael Ford will be signing autographs at Shoe Carnival, which is located at 6805 Westnedge (1 mile south of I-94 next to Target). The players will be signing from 1-3 PM.

On Monday, December 16th, K-Wings players Joe Pecoraro and Tyson Turgeon will be visiting Allegan High School from 2-3 PM to help promote self-esteem to individuals who are deaf. The appearance, which is through the Quota Club, is also to promote a separate gathering in early January. The students from Allegan High School, as well as other deaf students from around the area will get to skate and meet their hometown team on January 3rd.

Finally, the K-Wings players Mark Lawrence, Kurt Miller, Jeff Reyneart, Herman Hultgren, and Charlie Elezi will be visiting Bronson Hospital at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 17th, as the K-Wings will try to bring holiday cheer, as they bring stuffed toys from the Third Annual Teddy Bear Toss game. This season, the Teddy Bear Toss game is sponsored by WOTV and WRCC and will be on Friday, December 13th against Adirondack IceHawks. Game time is set for 7:30 PM, and tickets are available by calling the Wings Stadium Box Office at (269) 345-5101.
