Pee Dee comes into Tuesday's game with a record of 22-20-2, just three points behind the Stingrays in the East Division standings. The Stingrays have a record of 4-1-1 against the Pride this season with a goals against average of 1.98. The Pride has lost seven straight games.

Texas has a record of 9-26-8 on the season and a mark of 4-15-4 at Ford Arena. The Stingrays will begin a four game road trip in Texas. They have a road record of 9-11-2 on the season.

Tuesday, February 1, 2005 Stingrays 2 @ Columbia 3
Columbia took a 2-0 lead on the Stingrays, but goals by Robin Gomez and Kevin Spiewak tied the game for South Carolina in the second period. Brad Ralph's 5 on 3 goal won the game in the second for Columbia.
Friday, February 4, 2005 Stingrays 4 Vs Gwinnett 6
The Rays led 2-0 in the game, but Gwinnett stormed back with five goals in the third period for the win to break Maxime Daigneault's six game winning streak.
Saturday, February 5, 2005
Ed Courtenay had two goals in the Stingrays win and Justin Eddy mad 31 saves for his first victory in South Carolina as the Rays topped the Grrrowl 4-3.
The Team:
The Rays lost their ten game winning streak with a loss in Columbia on Tuesday night. The team went 1-2 on the week and has a record of 23-16-3. South Carolina is in third place in the East Division with 49 points and in sixth place in the American Conference. The Stingrays can thank their special teams for the bulk of their success this season. They have the first ranked penalty kill in the league at 90% and the fifth ranked power play at 18.6%.
The Players:
Ed Courtenay had the game winning goal on Saturday night against Greenville and now has ten goals and 16 assists for 26 points in 32 games. Matt Reid, Joe Tenute and Rich Peverley all have 17 goals to lead the team. Reid has the team lead in points with 40. Justin Eddy won his first start as a Stingray this week making 31 save over Greenville. The Rays started three different goaltenders on the week.
