Yutaka Fukufuji stopped 32 shots for the victory as the Condors wrapped up their only series in Alaska this season.

Where we stand

At 27-11-7, Bakersfield owns the second-best winning percentage in the entire 28-team ECHL (.678) and ranks second in the West Division with 61 points in the standings. Long Beach leads the way with 62 points. The Condors also rank first in the league in road victories (14) and no team has lost fewer games on the season.

King James

Congratulations goes out to rookie Connor James, currently recalled to the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League, who notched his first points in the AHL last weekend. The Condors rookie All-Star recorded the only two goals for Manchester (on only two shots) and was +2 in a 3-2 shootout loss at Portland on Saturday. James registered 32 points in 35 games with Bakersfield and leads the team with a +17 and is on his second call-up to the AHL this season.

What's up this week

Two home games are slated for this weekend, with Fresno coming to town on Friday night for a 7:00 p.m. match at the Garden. That night, everyone in attendance is invited to stick around after the game for a free concert with national recording artists Hawk Nelson, presented by KKEY-TV 11 and Island Style.

The quarters come in a limited edition Condors display case, sponsored by KGET-TV 17 and National Staffing, and feature a California Condor.
