Tuesday, February 1 @ Gwinnett Gladiators 4 PRIDE 3
The Pride set a new team record with their fifth consecutive loss, falling 4-3 at Gwinnett. Pee Dee led 3-0 on first-period goals by Eric Naud and Gregg Johnson, and a Chad Spurr tally 8:49 into the second period. The Gladiators got on the scoreboard with a Kris Goodjohn shorthanded goal at 11:31 of the second. Gwinnett scored a pair of power-play goals just 1:23 apart midway through the third period, and then added the game-winner with just 1:40 remaining in regulation.
Friday, February 4 @ Charlotte Checkers 3 PRIDE 2
Charlotte got off to a quick start, getting a Jason Dawe goal just 1:39 into the game. But, Pee Dee came right back, tying the game 1:04 later on Jake Wiegand's third goal of the season. The Checkers retook the lead at 14:10 off of the stick of Thomas Bellemare, and then went up by two goals through two periods on a Dan Preston tally at 8:26 of the second. The Pride pulled back within on 8:52 into the final period on a Darryl Green power-play tally, but Charlotte goaltender Alex Westlund shut the door the rest of the way to lead the Checkers to the win.
Saturday, February 5 @ Columbia Inferno 4 PRIDE 1
After a scoreless first period, Columbia got on the board first, getting a 5-on-3 power-play goal from Brad Ralph 13:48 into the second period. The Inferno made it 2-0 through 40 minutes with another power-play goal, this one from Ryan Campbell at 18:13. The Pride cut the deficit in half with a Darryl Green power-play goal at 3:49 of the third, and despite outshooting Columbia 11-4 in the final period, would get no closer. John Longo provided the Inferno with some insurance tallying at 17:23, and Ralph set the final with an empty-net tally with 11.9 seconds left.
