Toledo Walleye News Release

STORM NOTES

- Second is Nice! Following Toledo's 2-1-0 week, the Storm is alone in second place in the North Division. As a team Toledo is a +20 over the last 3 games.

- Home Cooking! Since a 5-6-0 start at the Sports Arena, Toledo is unbeaten in regulation 9-0-1 on the home ice.

- North Division Fun! Toledo is 21-13-2 inside the very difficult North Division this season.

- One Goal Games! The Storm feel most comfortable in close games this season (14-5-4 in one goal games). Only Wheeling and Charlotte have won more one-goal contests (16).

- Shots, Who Needs Shots? Toledo won Saturday night in Reading 2-1. In the win, the Storm registered just 14 shots on goal. That matched a season low in shots for a game that was set on January 14th at Dayton. Ironically, Toledo also won that game 2-1.

- Toledo is 14-6-1 at home and 11-9-3 on the road this year.

- Toledo's power play unit ranks 25th in the ECHL, with 28 power play goals in 199 chances (14.1%).

- The penalty kill unit of Toledo has allowed just 26 goals in 187 chances against this season (86.1%). That is 6th in the ECHL.
