Idaho Steelheads News Release
BOISE, Idaho - Coming off a weekend split against the West Division-leading Long Beach Ice Dogs, the Steelheads take to the road for four critical inter-divisional games, beginning with a rare Monday night matchup tonight in Canada. Idaho will play the league's worst team, the Victoria Salmon Kings tonight and Wednesday night. However, with the Salmon Kings' recent addition of NHL New York Rangers goaltender Dan Blackburn, Idaho cannot take the two games for granted. The Steelheads will travel Thursday to Las Vegas for two games, Friday and Saturday night, against the Wranglers, who are currently just one point behind Idaho in the standings. Idaho is 1-1-0 against the Salmon Kings this season, and 3-1-0 against the Wranglers.
