Friday, February 4
San Diego 3 @ Wheeling 4 (OT)
Pascal Morency gave the Nailers a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 9:41 of the first period with Alex Rouleau and Cam Paddock assisting. Curtiss Patrick increased the Nailers lead to 2-0 at 19:40 with another power play goal and the first of his professional career. Aaron Smith and Rouleau assisted. San Diego cut the Nailers lead to 2-1 with a goal just nine seconds later. San Diego tied the game 2-2 at 4:07 of the second period on a Mike Garrow goal. The Gulls took a 3-2 lead at 6:06 with a power play goal. Brendon Hodge increased his point streak to 11 games with a power play goal at 19:35 of the second period to tie the game. The Nailers won the game on and unassisted goal by Evgeny Lazarev at 1:46 of overtime. Joe Exter made 20 saves for the win.
Saturday, February 5
Wheeling 5 @ Trenton 2
Trenton scored the only goal of the first period to take a 1-0 lead over the Nailers. Evgeny Lazarev tied the game with a power play goal at 1:49 of the second period and gave the Nailers the lead at 7:32 with a shorthanded goal. Trenton tied the game at 10:13 of the second period with an even strength goal. Dan Fox gave the Nailers a 3-2 lead with his first professional goal in his first professional game. Alex Rouleau added a power play goal, his first goal of the season, at 15:50 of the second period to give Wheeling a 4-2 lead. Cam Paddock added another power play goal at 18:15 of the third period to end the scoring. Joe Exter made 37 saves for the win.
Sunday, February 6
San Diego 0 @ Wheeling 3
Joe Exter only needed to make 15 saves for his sixth consecutive win and third shutout in his last games to imrove his record to 7-7-0 on the season. The game was scoreless until Cam Paddock scored a power play goal at 2:45 of the third period. Evgeny Lazarev and Ray DiLauro assisted on the goal. Rick Gorman gave the Nailers a 2-0 lead at 6:55 with his first goal of the season in his second game with the Nailers. Cliff Loya ended the scoring with a goal at 12:04. The Nailers equaled their season high win streak at six games with the win and improved to 3-0-1 against non-division opponents.

The Nailers begin a five game West Coast trip in Alaska. It will be the first ever meeting between these teams and the furthest West the Nailers have ever played in their history.
Saturday, February 12

The Nailers play the second of three games in Alaska against the Aces.
Sunday, February 13
Wheeling @ Alaska 9:05p.m.
The Nailers close their three games in three nights in Alaska before heading to California to play San Diego and Bakersfield to complete their West Coast trip.
Nailers Player of the Week:
The Nailers Player of the Week is Evgeny Lazarev. Lazarev had six points in three games last week on three goals and three assists. He scored the overtime game-winning goal on Friday night against San Diego. Had Two goals and an assist in a 5-2 win in Trenton on Saturday and recorded two assists in a 3-0 win against San Diego on Sunday. He finished the week at a +2.
Nailers Goaltender of the Week:
The Nailers Goaltender of the Week is Joe Exter. Exter was 3-0-0 with one shutout in three games played last week. He made 20 saves for a 4-3 overtime win on Friday, 37 saves on Saturday and 15 saves for a 3-0 win on Sunday. His goals against average for the week was 1.65 and his save percentage was .935.
