Toledo Walleye News Release

The Storm's 47-15-10 regular season record gave Toledo 104 points, which placed the Storm first overall ECHL point standings for the 2002-03 regular season.

The ECHL's Henry Brabham Cup, awarded to the team with the best regular season record, was presented to the Storm at the conclusion of the 2002-03 regular season. This marks the second time in franchise history that Toledo has won the Brabham Cup. The team also had the best regular season record in the Storm's inaugural season, 1991-92.

Toledo's regular season (.722) win percentage was the highest in the league. That represents the third best win percentage in Storm franchise history--both the 1991-92 team and the 1995-96 team had a win percentage of (.742).

The Storm's 47 regular season wins tied the team for second overall with the Columbia Inferno. The Peoria Rivermen won more games in regulation (48) than any other ECHL team in the 2002-03 regular season.

The 47 regular season wins for the Storm this season is the second most in franchise history. The 1995-96 team won 48 regular season games.

Toledo lost fewer games in regulation than any team in the league (15) during the 2002-03 season. That ties the 1991-92 team for the second fewest losses in Storm franchise history. The 1995-96 team established the franchise record by losing only lost 14 games in regulation.
