Greensboro Generals News Release

Greensboro, NC — With the regular season now behind them, the Greensboro Generals of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) are now preparing for their first Kelly Cup playoff game and series in team history. They will face their border rival Roanoke Express in the Northeast Division Semi-Finals in a best of five series.

The Generals have home-ice advantage for the series by virtue of their second place finish in the division, ending the year with a 42-21-9 record for 93 points, just one point behind the first place Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. The Express finished the season as the third seed in the division with a 42-24-6 mark for 90 points.
