
Medak Reassigned to Grrrowl for Play-in Game

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League announced Monday that Left Winger JUDD MEDAK has been reassigned to the team by the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves. Medak will join the Grrrowl for Tuesday's playoff game against the Florida Everblades at TECO Arena (7:30 PM, Newsradio 1330 & 950 WORD).
Medak has recorded 2-2-4 points and 6 penalty minutes with the Wolves this season. The Edmonton, Alberta native scored his first AHL goal last Wednesday in Chicago's 7-4 win over the Houston Aeros. He also has 17-26-43 points and 104 penalty minutes with the Grrrowl this season.
The Grrrowl and Everblades meet in a one-game playoff on Tuesday night. The winner will advance to the next round of the 2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs, which will be a best-of-five series starting Wednesday in Columbia against the Inferno. If Greenville advances, games 3 & 4 (if necessary) would be played at the BI-LO Center next Monday and Tuesday (4/7 & 4/8) nights at 7:05 PM. Individual tickets for the first round games on the 7th and 8th will go on sale Wednesday morning. Individual tickets are $1 more than regualr season prices...$22, $17, $15, $11, $7.
The final edition of the Icehouse Grrrowl Hour will air live tonight from the teams' hotel in Bonita Beach, Florida from 7:00 - 8:00 PM on Newsradio 1330 & 950 WORD.
