Grrrowl change time of first playoff game
April 6, 2006 - ECHL (ECHL)
Greenville Grrrowl News Release
GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Grrrowl have announced that the time for this Sunday's opening round playoff game has been changed to 1:00 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
The Grrrowl worked diligently with BI-LO Center management, who restructured setup for Marshalls US Figure Skating International Showcase, in order to accommodate the Grrrowl's desire for a later start of 1:00 p.m. Greenville worked for this time change to accommodate all fans, and to make it easier for them to attend the first Grrrowl playoff game of the postseason.
Greenville will play Game Two in either Augusta or Charlotte on Tuesday, April 11th, and will play Game Three (if necessary) at the BI-LO Center on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:05 p.m. Although they have two games left in the regular season, the Grrrowl will finish in third place in the Southern Division, and will host the sixth-place team in this best-of-three series.
Tickets for Greenville's first home playoff game will go on sale through Ticketmaster and the BI-LO Center Box Office at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 7th.
Greenville has gone 6-2-0 against Augusta this season and is 6-3-0 against Charlotte. The Grrrowl host the Lynx on Friday and the Checkers on Saturday in potential playoff previews. For tickets to the remaining regular season games, call 864-233-2525.
