ECHL Playoff Format: The Checkers could host a maximum of 14 home games if home ice advantage is secured throughout the playoffs. A round-by-round breakdown of the potential games is listed below:
First Round ~ Best of 3 Games~ Home Game April 11, 2006
Conference Quarterfinals ~ Best of 5 Games~ Maximum # of home games is 2
Conference Semifinals ~ Best of 5 Games~ Maximum # of home games is 3
Conference Championship ~Best of 7 Games~ Maximum # of home games is 4
Kelly Cup Championship ~ Best of 7 Games~ Maximum # of home games is 4
