
Passmore nets runner up honors for Player of the Month

The Augusta Lynx are proud to announce that center Brian Passmore has been named Runner-Up for CCM Tacks ECHL Player of the Month honors for March.
Passmore collected 10 goals and 19 points in 15 games for the Lynx along with a +3 rating during the March. Four of his goals came via the power play, while two went for game winners as the Lynx went 6-7-2 to vault the team into the post-season for the first time in four seasons. He registered a seven-game point scoring streak during the month, scoring six goals and eight assists over that span while Augusta went 3-2-2.
Spending his first full season with the Lynx, the Mississauga, Ontario native ranks second on the team in scoring with 27 goals and 58 points, both of which are professional career highs for Passmore. He also represented the Lynx at the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game this year.
Originally selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Passmore has scored 31 goals and 70 points in a Lynx uniform in 123 games for the club.
Augusta hits the road to finish the regular season Friday night in Greenville against the Grrrowl at 7:05 pm and Saturday at 7:35 pm against the Gwinnett Gladiators. Then it's on to the playoffs! Regardless of opponent, Augusta will host their first-round playoff game on Tuesday, April 11 at 7:35 pm.
