Hrdel Reassigned to Chiefs

Johnstown, PA (April 6, 2006) - Johnstown Chiefs General Manager Toby O'Brien announced that winger Zbynek Hrdel has been reassigned to the Chiefs from Springfield of the AHL.

Hrdel, 20, has eleven points, including six goals in 13 games, in two stints with the Chiefs this season. The Czech Republic native, who last season was a line mate of Penguins forward Sidney Crosby at Rimouski Oceanic, has 15 points (5G, 10A) in 46 games with Springfield.

Hrdel will join the team in time for the Chiefs visit to Toledo, Friday night.

The Johnstown Chiefs 2005-06 season presented by The First National Bank of Pennsylvania concludes Saturday, in Johnstown with Fan Appreciation Day as the Chiefs host the Toledo Storm. The first 1000 fans in attendance will receive a Tampa Bay Lightning commemorative pint glass, Thunder sticks, and Stanley Cup stickers. Hundreds of prizes will be randomly awarded throughout the game.
