What Happened Last week
The Ice Pilots ended the regular season losing a 4-3 shootout vs. Mississippi at home on Friday night, losing 4-3 at Columbus on Saturday night and lost a shootout to Columbus at home on Sunday 5-4. The Ice Pilots ended the regular season with a record of 33-30-9 for 75 points which is good for fifth place in the Southwest Division. Greg Pankewicz was named the team's MVP and Chris Minard won the Unsung Hero Award.
ICE PILOTS FINISH IN FIFTH PLACE
The top five teams in the Southwest Division qualify for the playoffs. The number 4 and number 5 team will play in a one game playoff and the winner will play the number one team in the opening round and number two will play number three. The following are the final standings of the Southwest Division.

ICE PILOTS PLAY AT JACKSON TUESDAY NIGHT IN ONE GAME WILD CARD PLAYOFF AT 8:05 P.M.:
The Ice Pilots play at Jackson Tuesday night at 8:05 p.m. in the Wild Card Playoff game. The winner will advance to play Mississippi in the Southwest Division Semi-Final Playoff series which will begin Wednesday night in Biloxi at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots had a record of 5-5-1 vs. Jackson during the regular season including a record of 1-3-1 on the road and 4-2 at home. Jackson had a record of 6-3-2 vs. the Ice Pilots during the regular season winning the last three contests. The last meeting was on March 23rd with Jackson winning 4-2 at the Mississippi Coliseum.
TOP SCORERS FOR ICE PILOTS AND JACKSON
Greg Pankewicz is the top scorer for the Ice Pilots with 87 points and lead the league with 46 goals, 20 power play goals and 352 shots. Former Ice Pilot John McNabb is the top scorer for the Bandits with 70 points and lead the Bandits with 35 goals. Former Ice Pilot Jeff Bes lead the Bandits with 39 assists and is the second leading scorer on the Bandits with 62 points and finished with 23 goals. Louis Dumont is the second leading scorer on the Ice Pilots with 71 points. Maxime Gingras finished with a record of 23-24-9 and a 3.00 goals against average with a .913 save percentage. Adam Hauser finished with a record of 20-9-4 and a 2.46 goals against average and .916 save percentage and Tyrone Garner finished with a record of 18-17-4 with a 2.71 goals against average and .914 save percentage. Gingras had a record of 5-4-1 vs. Jackson this season with a 2.26 goals against average and .930 save percentage. Garner had a record of 2-2-2 with a 3.10 goals against average and .903 save percentage vs. the Ice Pilots and Hauser posted a record of 4-1 vs. the Ice Pilots with a 2.16 goals against average and .924 save percentage.

KELLY CUP PLAYOFF STRIPS ON SALE
Kelly Cup Playoff Strips are on sale for all 15 potential home games by calling the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825. The cost for all 15 potential home games is $288 for Glass seats, $221.85 for Blue Lines and Sides, $202.50 for Goals and Lower upper level seats, $162 for Upper Level seats and $221.85 for wheelchair seats. INDIVIDUAL KELLY CUP PLAYOFF TICKETS ARE ON SALE
Individual Kelly Cup Playoff tickets are on sale. The cost is $24 for Glass seats, $17 for Blue Lines and Sides, $15 for Goals and Lower Upper level seats, $12 for Upper level seats and $17 for Wheelchair seats. ICE PILOTS NEW YEAR ROUND SEASON TICKET PACKAGE
The Ice Pilots are now offering year round payments for season tickets. Season tickets for the 16 game plan on a 6 month payment plan are as follows: $15 seats (sides) are $35.99 per month, $13 seats (behind the goals and lower upper level) are $32.99 per month, $10 seats (upper level) are $24.99 per month. The following is a list of prices for full season tickets on a 12 month payment plan: $22 seats (floor and glass) are $49.99 per month, $15 seats (sides) are $35.99 per month, $13 seats (behind the goals and lower upper level) are $32.99 per month, $10 seats (upper level) are $24.99 per month.
Group Tickets
Group tickets are available at the Ice Pilots office. A group of 15-24 will receive $2 off per ticket and scoreboard recognition. A group of 25-99 will receive $2 off per ticket, scoreboard recognition, the group leader receives two free tickets with a minimum of 25 tickets purchased and group members are eligible to become an MVP. Each group member fills out an MVP card, (cards are mailed with the group tickets), and drops the card in the MVP box at customer service before the game, and has the opportunity to win a valuable prize! Groups of 100 or more will receive scoreboard recognition, two free tickets, MVP cards plus $3 off per ticket and an opportunity to perform the national anthem or participate in the ceremonial puck drop (Subject to availability and approval).
Birthday Parties
Celebrate your birthday with the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots birthday party package includes hotdogs, cokes, cupcakes, 10 game tickets, a special gift pack for the birthday person delivered by Iceman, a birthday card signed by the Ice Pilots and scoreboard recognition. Ice Pilots top scorers
Greg Pankewicz finish the season as the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 46 goals, 41 assists for 87 points. Pankewicz lead the ECHL in goals with 46, power play goals with 20 and shots with 352. Pankewicz finished sixth in the league with 87 points. Brad Dexter finished fourth in the league among top scoring defenseman with 52 points. Maxime Gingras finished second in the league with 1,775 saves and 3,381 minutes played.

Greg Pankewicz has been nominated for player of the week and Maxime Gingras has been nominated for goalie of the week.
Practice Schedule for week
The Ice Pilots will leave for Jackson today at Noon. The Ice Pilots will play at Jackson on Tuesday night at 8:05 p.m. If the Ice Pilots win, the Ice Pilots will play at Mississippi on Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will practice at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Civic Center. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Friday at 10 a.m. and play at Mississippi on Friday night at 7:35 p.m. and play at home on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots would have Sunday off and play at home on Monday if necessary for a game 4 at 7:05 p.m. If necessary, the Ice Pilots will play at Mississippi on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Practice times are scheduled to change.
Dumont Third All-Time Leading Scorer in the ECHL
Ice Pilots forward Louis Dumont is currently ranked third in the league as the third All-Time leading scorer with 670 career points. Dumont is 15 points behind former Ice Pilots assistant coach Darryl Noren for second place. Noren has 685 points. Rod Taylor is the All-Time leading scorer in the league setting the record this season with 689 points.
Assigned Players from Tampa Bay and Springfield
The Ice Pilots have three assigned pro players from Tampa Bay of the NHL. They are defensemen Jeremy Van Hoof, Marek Priechodsky and goalie Brian Eklund. Defenseman Brad Dexter and goalie Maxime Gingras are assigned from Springfield of the AHL.
