The Storm's 15-5-1 record ties Toledo with the Louisiana IceGators for the most points (31) in the league standings. The Storm's (.738) win percentage is the highest in the league.

The loss to the Peoria Rivermen on Friday night at the Toledo Sports Arena was the first loss at home this season for the Storm, snapping an eleven game home win streak, which is a single season franchise record.

With Friday night's loss to the Peoria Rivermen (0-2) and Saturday's loss to the Dayton Bombers (0-3), the Storm has lost two games in a row for the first time this season.

With the two shutout losses this week, the Storm has now been shutout three times this season. The other shutout was at the hands of the Dayton Bombers (6-0) on October 27 in Dayton.

The Storm has not scored a goal since the 6:09 mark of the third period in the 3-2 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones on Sunday, November 24. That is a span of 133:51 without a goal.

In Friday night's 2-0 loss to Peoria, the Storm held the Rivermen to 3 shots in the third period. That is the fewest shots against the Storm in a single period this season.

Friday's loss marked the first time this season that the Storm defense has given up three or fewer goals and did not win the game.

In Friday's game, the Storm outshot the Rivermen 32-25. The Storm has outshot the opponent in 12 of the team's 21 games this season. Toledo has a record of 9-2-1 when out-shooting the opponent.

In Friday night's game, Storm defenseman, Matt Eldred, picked up a minor penalty for cross-checking 3:26 into the contest. That was his 30th minor of the season, and he is currently second in the league in that category. Eldred has had at least one minor penalty assessed against him in 17 of the 20 games he has played for the Storm this season.

Friday night's game had two first round draft picks facing each other in goal. For the Storm, Brian Finley, the first round pick of the Nashville Predators in 1999 (6th overall) got the start; while Mathieu Chouinard, the first round pick of the Ottawa Senators in 1998 (15th overall) started for Peoria. That marked the first time in the fifteen year history of the ECHL that two first round picks faced each other in goal.

Centerman David Del Monte played his first game for the Storm on Friday night. He is the thirty-second player to wear the Storm colors this season.

In Friday night's game, the Storm's power play went 0 for 5 with the man advantage. That marked the first time this season that the Storm has failed to score a power play goal in a game at home.

In Saturday night's game, the Storm's PP failed to score in seven opportunities. That marked the sixth game this season that Toledo has been blanked with the man advantage-five of those "0-for's" have come out on the road.

Toledo's power play unit has scored just one goal in their last twenty-two chances (4.5% scoring ratio), dating back to the final power play that the Storm had in a 6-3 victory over the Wheeling Nailers on November 22-five games ago.

Overall, the Storm's power play unit has now scored 27 goals in 138 chances-a 19.6% scoring ratio, which is 11th in the ECHL.

The Storm gave up one power play goal in each of the two games this week. Toledo's penalty killing unit has allowed at least one goal against in eight consecutive games.

Overall, the Storm's penalty killing unit has now allowed 21 power play goals against in 136 chances for the opposition-a kill ratio of 84.6%, which is fifth in the ECHL.

In Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Dayton Bombers, the Storm had only 18 shots on goal. That is the fewest shots in a single game for the Storm this season, and the first time that Toledo has had less than twenty-six shots on the opponent's goal in a single game. Overall, Toledo averages 33.76 shots per game, which is seventh overall in the ECHL.

In Saturday's game, Alexandre Jacques was a "minus" (-1) for only the third time this season-and, in those three games, he's never been worse than a (-1). Jacques is currently playing a (+17) which places him fourth in the league in that category.

In Saturday's game, Nick Parillo was a "minus" (-1) for only the third time this season-and, in those three games, he's never been worse than a (-1). Parillo is currently playing at a (+10), which places him tied for third amongst first year players in that category.
