The Richmond Renegades are 15-9 after going 3-1 last week. The âGades are in a first place tie with Atlantic City in the Northeast Division. Richmond carries a three game home winning streak into the week. The âGades are home Thursday and Sunday.
THE WEEK AHEAD (ALL TIMES EASTERN)
Thursday, December 5 vs. Greensboro 7:05 PM
GAME NOTES: The second of eight meetings and the first of four here. âGades beat the Generals 3-2 in overtime at Greensboro in the first meeting. All three Richmond goals came on the power play. Lars Pettersen scored twice for the âGades. Richmond was 1-1 at home vs. the Generals last season.
Saturday, December 7 vs. Reading 7:05 PM
GAME NOTES: The third of eight meetings and the second of four here. Richmond is 2-0 vs. the Royals. The âGades took a 6-5 shootout decision in their first trip to Reading. David Brosseau has six points vs. the Royals. Ex-âGade Brian McCullough has four points vs. Richmond.
Sunday, December 8 vs. Johnstown 5:05 PM
GAME NOTES: The first of three meetings vs. the Chiefs and the first of two here. Richmond was 2-2-1 vs. Johnstown last season, 0-2-1 at home. Chiefs start the week 3-0-1 in their last four games. âGades are 1-0 vs. Northwest Division clubs this season.

Wednesday, November 27 vs. Trenton WIN 5-2
GAME NOTES: The âGades blew the game open with four goals in just over seven minutes of the first period. David Brosseau notched his second hat trick of the season. Brad Church added three assists. âGades out-shot the Titans 34-22. It was the âGades third straight win over the Titans.
Friday, November 29 @ Greenville LOSS 3-0
GAME NOTES: The âGades out-shot the Grrrowl 34-29 but could not solve goaltender Jayme Platt. Three different Grrrowl scored goals. Matt Demarski had two assists. Richmond is now 2-3 vs. Southeast Division clubs.
Saturday, November 30 vs. Charlotte WIN 4-3
GAME NOTES: The âGades jumped out to three two-goal leads, then held off a Checkers third period rally. Richmond out-shot Charlotte 37-17. Four âGades scored goals. Alex Matieroukine tallied the game-winner.
Sunday, December 1 vs. Atlantic City WIN 4-3 (OT)
GAME NOTES: The âGades jumped out to a 2-0 lead then fell behind 3-2. Lars Pettersen tied the game with under three minutes to play. The âGades stretched their overtime record to 6-0 on a goal by Jon Zion 1:41 into OT. Zion had a goal and two assists. Lars Pettersen and Jamie Herrington had a goal and an assist. Justin Plamondon picked up his first point with an assist on the GWG.
âGADES NOTES: The Renegades have won three straight and nine of their last 10 games at home. Richmond is 6-0 in ovetime/shootouts. The âGades are 6-0 all-time vs. Atlantic City at home with four of the wins coming in overtime/shootouts. The âGades streak of six straight opponents held under 30 shots ended Sunday. Richmond won Sunday with only 14 available skaters. Nick Lent is on loan to Portland of the AHL. Jayme Filipowicz is on loan to St. John of the AHL. Former Renegade Ryan Kraft made his NHL debut last week and picked up his first point with the San Jose Sharks. Kraft is the 16th former Renegade to play in the NHL. The âGades hit the 1/3 point of the season following Sunday's game. Richmond is on a 45 win, 90 point pace.
Richmond was 10-4 in November, their first 10 win month since March of 2000. Marc Magliarditi earned his 120th career win Sunday. He is seventh in ECHL history, four behind Jeff Salajko. The âGades scored their seventh shorthanded goal of the year Sunday. Justin Plamondon, who joined the âGades Saturday from Binghamton of the AHL, picked up his first point with an assist on Jon Zion's overtime game-winner Sunday. Milt Mastad was placed back on IR 11/30 with a hand injury. Richmond has allowed three shorthanded goals in their last four games. Lars Pettersen's nine game scoring streak, a club season high, ended Friday. David Brosseau notched his second hat trick of the season Wednesday.
