Greensboro's Berthiaume Named ECHL Goalie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Greensboro's Daniel Berthiaume is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for November 25-December 1.

Berthiaume went 2-0-0 with two shootout wins, a 1.38 goals against average and a .955 save percentage as Greensboro went 3-0 last week.

Berthiaume made 32 saves in regulation and two saves in overtime before stopping the final eight of 10 shooters in the shootout in the Generals' 2-1 shootout win over South Carolina on Friday.

The following night at Johnstown, Berthiaume made 29 saves in regulation and one save in overtime before stopping all four shooters in the shootout as Greensboro won 3-2 in the shootout.

Berthiaume is 10-2-2 and ranks second in the ECHL in shootout wins (3), third in shootout percentage (.842) and eighth in goals against average (2.57).

In the ECHL record book, Berthiaume has moved into second place for career wins (158) and third place for career games (273) and career minutes (16,154).

Runners-Up: Marc Kielkucki, Cincinnati (2 gp, 2-0-0, 0.75 GAA, .975 save pct.) and Frederic Cloutier, Louisiana (2 gp, 2-0-0, 1.50 GAA, .954 save pct.)
